NanoCore Instructions

Welcome to NanoCore! In this game, you are a microscopic nanomachine injected into a mysterious human body. Your mission is to collect nutrients, survive hostile viruses, and ultimately uncover the secret hidden deep in the DNA.

🎮 Controls

• Arrow keys or WASD / ZQSD – Move your nanomachine
• E – Scan the nearby area (reveals nearby nutrients)
• Space – Move to the next zone (only after collecting all nutrients)

🧬 Objective

• Explore the body one zone at a time.
• Collect all nutrients in the current zone.
• Once all nutrients are collected, press Space to proceed to the next zone.
• Every few nutrients collected, you earn upgrade points to improve your nanomachine.
• Survive until you reach the final challenge at the core of the DNA.

🧪 Nutrients

• Green tiles.
• Give you energy when collected.
• Only visible after a scan or when very close.

🦠 Viruses

• Red or purple enemies on the map.
• Touching them drains your energy.
• Some viruses move randomly and can change direction.

⚙️ Upgrades

• Every 3 nutrients collected grants you 1 upgrade point.
• Choose between:
• +Speed – Move faster
• +Max Energy – Increases your energy capacity
• Passive Regen – Slowly regenerate energy over time
• Extended Scan – Increases the scan radius

📡 Scanning

• Press E to scan surrounding tiles.
• Reveals hidden nutrients within a radius.
• Has a cooldown between uses.

🚧 Zones

• Each zone contains new nutrients and viruses.
• You cannot move to the next zone until you’ve collected all nutrients in the current one.
• Press Space to advance once all nutrients are collected.

🧠 Final Challenge

• After several zones, you’ll reach the DNA core.
• Collect 5 final special nutrients before your energy runs out.
• If you succeed, you will decode the DNA and win the game!
